Microwave plasma can be used to heat components in a targeted manner and without much influence from the environment. The 4th state of matter, the so-called plasma, is generated with the help of microwaves. By adjusting the power, the distance to the product and the selection of a process gas, thermal processes can be controlled in a targeted manner.
The microwave plasma makes it possible to achieve high temperatures with a low energy input. Since a plasma flame can act very selectively, targeted heating processes are possible.
