Caterpillar haul-off BA 400

Our haul-off sets new standards for continuously pulling profiles, hoses or pipes. With the BA 400 we present a mobile and flexible belt and caterpillar haul-off with synchronous servo technology.

Safety and ease of use were key elements in its development. Automatic contact pressure monitoring offers particular comfort: it ensures that only the force required for continuous pulling is applied – so profiles are not deformed by excessive clamping force.

Its compact, mobile design makes the unit flexible and quick to deploy. Integrated forward/reverse operation and an automatic cable reel are already included as standard. The “Green Button” function guarantees a smooth production start; integrated line control and recipe management increase process stability and repeatability.

The optional loop control offers flexible pulling speeds – ideal in front of assembly units or manual workstations. A special highlight is the “Force Control” option: it continuously measures the pulling force and regulates the pulling speed. This is not a classic belt puller – its control and sensor technology delivers pulling quality previously known only from calibration units.

We all know it: safety devices often get in the way of operation. On haul-offs in particular, guards often make threading material difficult – and some operators resort to removing or bypassing them. That leads to unacceptable risks.

That is why our caterpillar was developed around its safety concept. The safety equipment does not get in the way – it is built into the functionality and ease of use.
