Caterpillar haul-off BA 501
An easy-to-operate, powerful machine concept for continuously pulling rubber profiles – with or without steel reinforcement – hoses and smaller plastic profiles.
Robust build
easy access
The BA 501 is built in a sheet-steel housing with a hinged hood. With the hood open, the entire working area is exposed – in setup mode the operator can reach everything from the operator side.
The details are designed for easy handling too: the haul-off belts can be changed in a few steps, and the height of the upper belt is set by a motorised spindle drive with reproducible values. The lower and upper belts each have their own three-phase drive.
Touchscreen operation
all settings at a glance
All functions are clearly arranged on a touchscreen display. Three pages cover every setting – such as belt speed, upper belt height and slip setting. Fault messages are shown on an additional page.
The belt speed either follows your production line online or is set individually. The panel can also control key parameters of the whole line. The “Boost” button compensates for a loop that has formed in production – combined with the optional sag control, this creates a consistent haul-off concept.
Slip control
even pulling without readjustment
If traction on the product is insufficient, the switchable automatic slip compensation corrects it by itself. The integrated slip control monitors the process.
With a contact length of 980 mm and up to 2,000 N pulling force, the BA 501 pulls even steel-reinforced profiles evenly. The conveyor belts are heat-resistant up to 100 °C.
